March 28 Wrap With Love 今天去参加"Wrap With Love" 的Knit-in活动了。
March 23 Battery case Once upon a time, dear hubby ask me to make a case for re-chargeable batteries, because we always can't remember which pair has been charged and which has not. This task has been delayed for a long time. Finally....check out my brand new hand-made battery case. fold it up nicely March March 18 Easter Haha, this weekend Easter is coming. For me, Easter does not mean anything other than bunnies and public holidays. Check out my yummy milk choc bunny. Bargain info: Spotlight, from this Monday to March 30th, America quilting fabric $2.99/m, 90cm wide calico $1/m, polyester 50g thread 49 cents/ball, Brother BM2600 sewing machine $169 ea, save $110 ![]() Brother BM 2600(image linked from Brother.com.au) March 11 Myer OpeningMyer's opening in Eastgardens Westfield shopping center was not interesting at all. I have no feeling about the two celebrities: the winner of the first Australia Idol, Guy Theodore Sebastian, and Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins. The lady in white shirt is Miss Universe Thanks for the non-stick pan fry from BB. A typical women's day gift for a housewife, I suppose. I like the red spot which indicates temperature. So far, our shubunkin, fantail, fighter and the tiny tetra are all still alive. We cured shubunkin and fighter's white spot disease by injecting green multi-cure into the water. Once we moved fighter into the mini pond, tetra's home. The fighter treated himself well with all the worms living in the pond. But unfortunately he acted too aggressively and punched his back into the tree trunk. We have to move him out again. Tiny tetra The current situation is the fighter lives together in the 4L fish bowl with shubunkin and fantail. We made a filting system for the fish bowl and use a fountain pump to push oxygen into water 24 hours/day. Fighter chases shubunkin and shubunkin chases fantail for fun. While Tetra lives alone in his/her lovely natural pond. March 05 O-week post a piece of important event info: this Saturday(March 8th) Myer Department Store is opening in Eastgardens Westfield shopping center. From 9am to 2pm, there will be opening events, promotions and giveaways. Anyone has interest can go there have a bit fun. BTW, Saturday is also International Women's Day- 100 anniversary...See? Ladies have another reason to go shopping now. Bad news is our car needs a bit repair. and due to some internet problem, I can not use msn recently. Check out fresh photos of O-week in UNSW. Time flies....How come it's O-week again. Sad I am not a uni student any more. It's time to grab a free uni diary. Wollongong It's always a good habit to keep promise, ha ha. Here are ten photos I took in Wollongong, a small, beautiful and quiet beach side town, the "spotlight" there is quite large with 3 floors though. Also we found a bargain in a discount pharmacy. Wollongong university. The little bird beside the sign is not a statue...it's definitely alive, cause I saw it fly away The uni has a landscape feature with many ponds Ducks, ducks Beach light tower. There are two light tower close to each other along the beach. One of the travel guides mentions that Wollongong is the only city in AU has two light towers together. fountain with soap water. it's in front of the information center Is this traffic control electricity box? all this kind of boxes are painted, might not officially, I suppose. March 02 Green & blue purse Yesterday, I took a one day trip to Wollongong for holiday. During my "holiday", I surprisingly finished a Green & Blue purse...kind of cute...I recently love free motion style, and blue color...Maybe because of turning 30 :( The background fabric is from clearance promotion of Wollongong Spotlight, $1, $2.5, $3... one meter each. Also found a fancy sewing machine store...the quilting samples attached to the machines are so breath-taking...pity we got there too late...the store was already closed. It was around 4pm on Saturday. apparently shops in the small town close even earlier than those in Sydney. I will be a bit busy in the coming week. Anyway, more photos of Wollongong will be posted in a few days for sure. stay tune |
